fashion and online shopping

In a changing environment, the way you run a good business is constantly being called into question.
How is the internet strategic of the company evolving?
What are the targets and positioning that would maximize your impact and boost your turnover?
What are the consequences and what lessons must be learned?

Internet and online shop are a trend, and we want to give an example. According to the IFM’s latest figures, online sales of fashion are untouched by the economic downturn.
FRECH MARKET TRENDS: The Institut Français de la Mode keeps a constant eye on the changes in online clothing sales through its consumer database. The latest figures, published on Tuesday September 9th show that “in a very depressed context for consumption, internet sales are not suffering”, explained Evelyne Chaballier, Director of the Economic Trends & Forecasting department of the IFM, during a press conference organized by the Fédération du e-commerce et de la vente à distance (Fevad).
The online sales of clothing grew again in the last year of 9%, the e-shopper is between 25-34 years old. As also true that this represented a kind of all clothing spending in France.
Lingerie is top of the list of product categories in online sales, followed by baby equipment and clothes for children. Small items for men and women and sports gear also sell well online. The study shows that the Internet remains the privileged place for sales and promotions. 50% of products are bought at a discount on the Internet, as opposed to 28% in “traditional” stores. The logic of lower prices goes a long way to explaining the dynamism of the online women’s market. Women between the ages of 25 and 44 are most likely to shop online: they have less time and also shop for their children. Male consumers are more likely to be convinced by the speed and practicality of online shopping. Note: certain products such as jeans for adults or certain children’s articles are 10 to 15% more expensive online compared to the average market price. I think this is really interesting, internet could be a good way of sales but pay attention and find a matched way for your own business.
Take a look: Net-a-porter is a very good example... take your time on net-a-porter magazine.
Pinko online shop proposes periodically total-look.
                    Marni creates mood board.
                    Twin-set layout is so cute
The corner is online format. Ermenegildo Zegna recently chooses to create over this platform your own online corner.
